OUR PURPOSE:
Poverty and hunger is nothing new to the people in some communities in the Cape Flats, and surrounding communities. One of our main initiatives in South Africa is to make sure that these children have food to eat daily. On a weekly basis we give food packets to families, as well as warm meals to thousands of children. This is only possible because of the amazing and anointed volunteers that we have on the ground. Next Level Living is on a mission to make sure that their bellies are filled by providing them warm healthy meals. We also want to make sure that their hearts are full so we do weekly games, and activities with the children.

61% of households in Manenberg, live in extreme poverty, and suffer from starvation.
In Africa more than 52% of children live in extreme poverty, and many go days without meals.
Globally, approximately 6,000 children under five die every day due to undernutrition.
OUR PASSION:
In 2018, the Feed My Sheep Campaign was launched to serve children and families across several communities in Cape Town, South Africa. Led by Executive Director Gavin Van der Vindt and his wife Porcia, this initiative provides consistent meals to children in some of the most overlooked areas of the city. Many of the communities being served, including Manenberg and Philippi, are among the toughest and most dangerous neighborhoods in the region. These are areas where even many locals and organizations hesitate to go, which is exactly why the need there is so great.
But this work goes far beyond providing food. Along with warm meals, the team creates meaningful experiences for the children through nature walks, hikes, games, and outdoor activities that allow them to explore, laugh, and simply enjoy being kids. The goal is not only to feed their bellies, but also to nourish their hearts and minds with encouragement, joy, and hope. Through the generosity of supporters, these children are receiving both the care they need today and the inspiration for tomorrow.

OUR MISSION:
Our Mission is to make sure that every child in Cape Town has food to eat. We’ve been feeding underserved communities around Cape Town since 2018. With each community we provide parcel packs, so each home has good for the coming weeks, and we also serve fresh and warm meals to the children and the parents wishing the community. We’re typically serving 5-6 communities per month, and we’re grateful for the Next Levelers who volunteer on a regular basis. With your financial support we can feed even more children across South Africa. This was started by Jeremy & Traci Anderson. Jeremy is a Top Youth Motivational Speaker, and has always had a heart for young people and the less fortunate.
